Detroit Lakes at Pequot Lakes
Recap
Hot outside shooting propelled Detroit Lakes to the road win at Pequot Lakes, snapping the Patriots’ seven-game win streak.
The visiting Lakers connected on eight from beyond the arc in the first half. Trailing 16-11, DL used a 17-2 run to push the lead to double figures at 28-18. After the Patriots responded and cut the lead to four at 35-31, a 10-2 answer by DL sent the teams to the locker room with the Lakers leading 45-33.
Early in the second half, Detroit Lakes, on back-to-back three pointers, pushed the lead to fifteen. With every Pequot Lakes attempt of a comeback, the Lakers put the brakes on it. The Patriots eventually cut it to six at 74-68 but only 18 seconds remained.
