The Fort Frances Lakers dropped a pair of home games over the weekend to the Dryden Ice Dogs, 9-2 and 7-2.  On Friday, Brandon Rossetti scored in 3rd of the season and Ian Snooks got his first as a Laker.  Fort Frances scored first on Saturday as Fort Frances’ own, Darnell Kempf, lit the lamp for his first on the season.  Dryden scored the next 4 goals before Branden Hill scored his first of the season to make it 4-2.  The Ice Dogs would add 3 goals in the third for the final margin.  The Lakers off until Friday, October 21st, when they play in the SIJHL Showcase in Superior, Wisconsin, against the Sioux Lookout Bombers.
