The International Falls baseball team was at home to take on Ely. The Timberwolves scored 4 runs in the first inning but the Broncos scored two runs in the second and three in the 3rd as the game would be tied at 5 after 3 innings. Ely pushed 2 runs across in the 4th and the game would remain at 7-5 until the bottom of the 7th. Brody Carlson led off with a single and Gavin Loveless followed with a double to put runners on 2nd and 3rd. The Broncos would score on an error by the Ely pitcher to make it 7-6 with no one out. Parker Sivonen reached on an error and the Falls had runners at the corners, but unfortunately the Broncos could not get the tying run in a 7-6 loss.
