Ely at Littlefork-Big Falls

In a game heard on K104, rjbroadcasting.com, and seen on Your Live Event.com, the Littlefork Big Falls Vikings volleyball team hosted the Ely Timberwolves.  The Vikings started the match on fire and took an early five 5 point lead at 10-5.  That’s when Ely came to life and would win the first set 25-17.  It was all Timberwolves in Set 2 as they won it 25-9.  Set 3 was almost identical as the first set with LBF taking an early lead and Ely coming back to take the set and the match 25-20.  Karlie Gustafson had 7 set assists, Abby Hauner 4 ace serves, and Destiny Piekarski 8 kills and 5 blocks.  After the match, Piekarski says they played not to make it easy on Ely early in the match.

The Vikings will be right back on the floor tomorrow as they travel to Bigfork for a 7:00 match.
