Fertile, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami Falcons got their offense back on track in their 72-47 victory over the Win E Mac Patriots on Friday night.

Win E Mac’s focus going into the evening was to improve defensively and they took a step forward in that area in the first half but the offense was never able to come around scoring only 47 points after they’ve been averaging over 70 points per game. The Falcons were sharing the sugar all night on offense and that resulted in five different players to score in double figures including Isaiah Wright who tallied a double double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. With the victory on Friday night Fertile-Beltrami is now 9-4 on the season and will have a big Section 8A Matchup on Monday when they host the Ponies of Warren-Alvarado-Oslo. Win E Mac falls to 6-7 with the loss and will be back at home next Tuesday where they will play host to the Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds.
