The Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds had a hot shooting night on the way toa 90-53 win over the Fosston Greyhounds.  The game was close to begin with with each team hitting shots which would result in 6 lead changes early, but the the Thunderbirds would heat up from the outside hitting 7 threes in the first half and 11 3’s for the game, and as the Greyhounds would extend their defense out to cover the shooters the Thunderbirds would then work the ball inside for layups and short jump shots.  On the Defensive end the Thunderbirds would force the Greyhounds into turnovers and would limit their shot selection making it difficult for the Greyhounds to find an offensive rhythm.  With the win Mahnomen Waubun is not 3-0 while Fosston drops to 3-1.
