Fosston 63 Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal 44

The Greyhounds closed the first half on a 12-1 run and went on to defeat the Titans 63-44 Monday night in Ulen. The Greyhounds scored the first seven points of the second half to extend their run to 19-1 and never looked back as they improve to 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Carsen Boushee led Fosston with 14 points and 10 rebounds while Zach Theis and Aaron Norland each added 10 points for Fosston. Darren Skala added 9 points and Tony Carlin 8 points for Fosston. The Titans were led by Wyatt Crompton with 11 points asNCE/U-H falls to 2-7 overall and 1-5 in the conference. Crompton hit three 3 pointers forNCE/U-H. Aidan Flaten and Cole Bentley each scored 10 points for the Titans. The Greyhounds led 33-14 at halftime. Both teams will return to action on Thursday, January 12th with Fosston hosting Bagley and NCE/U-H hosting Mahnomen/Waubun (101.5 FM). Fosston won the “B” Squad game over NCE/U-H 46-24 while the Titans won the “C” Squad game over Fosston 36-32.
