Hatton/Northwood vs. Cavalier

The Cavalier Tornadoes ended their season with a victory over the Hatton-Northwood Thunder, 3-1 (21-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-14), to claim a Third place finish in the Region 2 Tournament. The Thunder rallied back from an early hole to win the opening set, in part due to a Kora Gensrich seven-point service run that included a pair of ace serves. Cavalier would start both the second and third sets by again jumping out to an early lead. Hatton-Northwood would rally back both times before the Tornadoes snuffed out the rally with their net play, lead by Eden Carrier and Tia Jensen. Leading 2-1 and headed to the fourth set the Cavalier built upon the momentum of the previous two sets not trail in the set, winning 25-14 and taking the match 3-1. Hatton-Northwood, a #5 seed at the start of the tournament, finishes in 4th place in the region tournament and graduates five Seniors. Cavalier, the #3 seed, takes a third-place finish in the Region 2 Tournament and graduates seven Seniors.
