In a game heard on K104 and rjbroadcasting.com and seen on Your Live Event.com, the International Falls boys hockey team opened their season against Hibbing-Chisholm.  The visiting Bluejackets scored first at 5:18 of the first period and then tacked on two more in the next minute and 15 seconds to take a 3-0 lead.  Colin Kostiuk would get the Broncos on the board on the power play with assists from Cameron Schulz and Parker Sivonen however Hibbing-Chisholm would score a power play goal of their own to make it 4-1 after the first period.  Newcomer Royce Allan scored the first two goals of the second period as the Falls got to within 4-3.  The Bluejackets would score the next 4 goals before Parker Sivonen scored with 12 seconds left to make the final 8-4.  After the game, Royce Allan, who was injured in the JV game, talked about his first night as a Bronco.

Junior Braden Skifstad had a pair of assists in the game and the Broncos will be right back at Bronco Arena tonight as they face Lake of the Woods at 7:00 as there is no JV game.
