International Falls at Hinckley-Finlayson

The Bronco boys basketball team played in Virginia on Friday night against the Aitkin Gobblers.  The Falls held an early lead and led 18-15 with 9:20 left in the first half.  Aitkin would then go on a 30-2 run to end the half and defeated the Broncos 81-45.  Jett Tomczak led the Broncos with 24 points and scored his 1000^th career point in the second half.  Jett talked about giving the ball he scored the 1000^th with to his dad.

The Bronco boys were back in Virginia on Saturday afternoon to face Hinckley-Finlayson.  The Falls fell behind early but battled back to make a game of it, but lost 70-60.  Tomczak had 34 points in the game and Owen Wherley added 12.   The boys will be at North Woods tomorrow night.
