International Falls at Littlefork-Big Falls

The Battle by the Border for boys basketball was just that….a battle.  Littlefork-Big Falls had the lead early before International Falls came back to lead 27-25 at the half.  The lead changed hands in the second half as well with the Vikings needing to rally late including a 3-pointer by Tommy Larson with 1.5 seconds left to tie the game at 61 to force overtime.  The overtime period belonged to the Broncos as they won by a final of 70-62 to break their 14-game losing streak.   Jett Tomczak led the Falls with 21 points, Knute Boerger 15, and La-Min Barrow had 14.  The Broncos host Roseau tonight at the Falls High Gym at 5:45 for their final game of the regular season.  For the Vikings, they were led by Tommy Larson with 24 points and Wyatt Hell with 18.  LBF will find out they playoff opponent on Sunday and play on Monday night at 6:00.  We will have that game on K104 and rjbroadcasting.com.
