Recap

In a game heard on K104 and rjbroadcasting.com, the International Falls girls basketball team traveled to Aurora to take on Mesabi East in an IRC game with the winner moving into first place.  The Broncos got off to a good start and led 12-7 with 8 minutes left in the first half.  However, during that time frame, sophomore center Olivia Thostenson went down with a knee injury.  Despite the girls battling until the final horn, the Giants took over the game from that point and defeated the Broncos 56-38.  Maddie Lowe led the Falls with 15 points and Abby Hutchinson had 11.  After the game, junior forward Nora Sullivan said the tide of the game changed in the first half she felt, due to the team getting tired.

The Bronco girls are right back on the floor tomorrow afternoon as they host the Duluth Marshall Hilltoppers at 2:30.  Pregame starts at 2:10 on K104 and rjbroadcasting.com.
