International Falls at Moose Lake/Willow River

The International Falls football team played in the Section 7AA semifinals on Saturday against the #1 seed, Moose Lake-Willow River.  The Broncos took the opening kickoff and drove 73 yards in 10 plays to take a 6-0 on a 4 yard run by Ben Glowack.  The Rebels would answer back with over the next quarter and a half with 5 touchdowns of their own before the Falls would go on another long drive to score their next touchdown with 4 seconds left in the half on a 4 yard pass from Glowack to Ezra McGonigle to make the half time score 35-12.  MLWR would score 3 touchdowns in the 3^rd quarter before Glowack scored on a 35 yard dash down the left sideline to make the score 55-18 after 3 quarters.  The Falls would add a 4^th touchdown on a pass from Glowack to Alex Larson who had 7 receptions for 123 yards in the game.  The final score was 63-26, and the Broncos ended their season with a 3-7 record.  After the game, Glowack who rushed for 64 yards and threw for 158 talked about what worked in the passing game.

The Rebels will now face #3 seed Mesabi East in the section final on Thursday at Esko at 6:00.
