Recap

The Bronco girls hockey team opened their 21-22 season last night in Silver Bay against North Shore.  The Storm wasted no time getting on the scoreboard as they scored at 48 seconds and 79 seconds of the game to take a 2-0 lead.  North Shore would add 5 more in the period to lead 7-0 after 17 minutes.  The second period was totally different as the Broncos improved puck pressure and playing in front of freshman goaltender Mara Pelland.  No goals were scored in the second before the Storm added 4 goals in the 3rd for a final score of 11-0.  Pelland recorded 46 saves in the game for the Broncos.  After the game, senior Kaili Graves said the coaches told the girls to get their feet moving after the first period.

The Bronco girls are off until Tuesday, November 30th when they play at Hibbing-Chisholm.
