International Falls at Osseo

The International Falls boys hockey team opened the Hockeytown Holiday Classic with a game against Osseo-Park Center-Maranatha Academy on Wednesday evening.  It was not a good start for the Broncos as the Orioles scored 6 times in the first period.  The Falls did win the final two periods by a margin of 4-2 as Braden Skifstad scored twice, Matt Wherley and Colin Kostiuk lit the lamp but the Broncos fell by a final of 8-4.  Max Dremmel returned from his broken collarbone and had 3 assists.  The Falls plays again this afternoon as they will battle the Grafton-Park River Spoilers at 5:00.  Pregame starts at 4:40 on K104 and rjbroadcasting.com.
