International Falls at Rush City

The International Falls volleyball team faced 25-1 Rush City in the Section 7AA semifinals played at Hermantown last night.  The Broncos held an early lead in Set 1 before the Tigers reeled off 7 straight points to take the momentum and downed the Falls 25-11.  It was a similar story in the second set with Rush City winning 25-9.  The Broncos played an even set for half of Set 3, leading 16-14 before the Tigers used another 7-point run to take the 3^rd set 25-19 and the end the season for International Falls.  And what a season it was for the Broncos!  First time playing in the section semis since 2005, an undefeated home record, and an 18-7 record.  Madison Wille and Gracie Swenson each had 9 kills to lead the Falls and Bella Wille had 6 kills.  The coaching staff wants to thank the fans for being in attendance last night in Hermantown.
