International Falls at Section 7AA

The second round of the Section 7AA golf tournament was held at The Quarry in Biwabik on Thursday. Kelby Anderson entered the day with a 5 shot lead after shooting an 89 on Tuesday. Kelby backed that up with a 90 on another windy day to win the section title by 3 shots over Maggie Roth of Rush City who shot Thursday’s best round with an 87. Sammy Doherty of Mesabi East shot an 89 and finished tied for 5th. For Kelby, this was a goal she set a couple of years ago and says she has worked hard for
