International Falls at Two Harbors

The International Falls volleyball team opened their 2022 season with a match at Two Harbors last night with all the action heard on Lakes Country 104.1 and rjbroadcasting.com. The match started with ties at scores 1-6 but then the Broncos took over and won the first set by a score of 25-12 including a 7-0 run with Aubrey Pavleck serving. Set 2 saw the Falls win by the same score of 25-12 and included a 10-0 run with Kale Taylor serving. The Broncos never let the Agates into the 3rd set using an early 8-0 run with Taylor serving again on their way to a 25-9 match clinching win. Leading the way for the Broncos was a new player to the team, senior Madison Wille, who finished the match with 9 kills, 4 aces, and 2 blocks. After the match, Madison said they passed the ball well.
Bella Wille had 6 kills and 3 blocks while Gracie Swenson had 5 kills and 2 blocks. The Broncos next match will be on Tuesday at North Woods. The Falls JV won in 3 sets 25-21, 22-25, and 19-17 while the C-Team won in a sweep 25-5 and 25-11.
