International Falls at Warroad

The International Falls boys hockey team wrapped up play in the Hockeytown Holiday Classic on Friday against Warroad in a game heard on K104 and rjbroadcasting.com.  The Warriors built a 3-0 lead after 1 and extended that lead to 6-0 before Nate Dremmel broke through for the Falls on the power play with assists going to Braden Skifstad and Parker Sivonen in the second period.  Warroad would add two more goals as they defeated the Broncos 8-1.  Dremmel’s goal would be the only goal surrendered in the entire tournament by Warroad.  Falls goalie Carter McBride had 36 saves in the contest.  The Broncos host Red Lake Falls on Friday night at 6:00.
