International Falls Broncos at Duluth East

The International Falls volleyball team played some bigger school competition in the Duluth East Tournament on Saturday.  The Broncos faced Class 3A Princeton in the first match and the Falls lost Set 1, came back to win Set 2, but lost 15-11 in the deciding 3^rd set as Madison Wille had 17 kills and 4 aces.  The Broncos then played Class 4A Duluth East and won the match in 3 sets after losing Set 1 25-13.  Bella Wille recorded 6 kills and 4 blocks in what would be the lone match win of the day for the Falls.  The Broncos lost in 2 sets to Brainerd 29-27, 25-11 and then finished the day against Calumet, Michigan, with a 3-set loss.  Madison Wille notched 10 kills and 3 aces and Gracie Swenson had 4 aces against Calumet.  The International Falls volleyball team is now 11-5 on the season and are right back on the road tonight against Hibbing.  Pregame starts at 6:40 on Lakes Country 104.1 and rjbroadcasting.com and the first serve at 7:00.
