International Falls Broncos at Hibbing

Recap

The Bronco girls swimming and diving team participated in the Hibbing Invitational on Saturday.  The Falls competed against 7 of the other 10 teams in  Section 7A and finished in 5^th place as a team with a score of 172.  Grand Rapids won the meet with 520 points followed by Rock Ridge, Mesabi East, and Hibbing.  Individually for the Broncos:

Quianna Ford: 3^rd in 100 Breaststroke

Kieren Ford: 4^th in Diving

Jillian Bilben: 5^th in 50 Free

Kendra Kalstad: 7^th in 100 Breaststroke

Brooklyne Dowty: 10^th in 100 Breaststroke

Sylvia Valenzuela: 14^th in 100 Butterfly and 15^th in 200 Individual Medley

The 200 Free Relay of Mary Versteeg, Kalstad, Quianna Ford, and Bilben took 8^th as did the 400 Free Relay of Versteeg, Valenzuela, Quianna, and Bilben

The girls swimming and diving team will be in Aurora on Tuesday for a dual meet with Mesabi East.
