International Falls Broncos at Mesabi East

In a match heard on Lakes Country 104.1 and rjbroadcasting.com, the International Falls volleyball team played on the road at Mesabi East.  The Broncos used runs of 6 and 5 to win the first set 25-18.  In Set 2, the Broncos were down 16-10 and then came back to win the set 25-23.  Mesabi East was not about to go away as they scored 15 straight points in the 3^rd set to win it 25-13.  The 4^th set turned out to be a dandy as there were 15 ties and 11 lead changes with the Falls prevailing 26-24.  After the match, Gracie Swenson, who had 9 kills, 5 blocks and 15 digs, talked about the fact that the Broncos stayed aggressive.

Madison Wille had a monster game with 21 kills, 5 aces, and 6 blocks.  Bella Wille had 12 kills, 3 aces and 3 blocks and Kale Taylor had 32 set assists.  The Bronco volleyball team is now 4-0 and will play on Saturday in the Greenway Tournament.  The Bronco JV team lost 25-13, 25-21, the 8^th grade team lost 25-19, 25-18, and the 7^th grade team won 25-19, 25-6.
