International Falls Broncos at Mesabi East

The International Falls girls swimming and diving team put their undefeated record on the line at Mesabi East yesterday afternoon and the Giants downed the Broncos 91-80.  Top finishes for the Broncos individually:

Kieren Ford: 1^st in Diving

Kendra Kalstad: 1^st in 500 Free

Quianna Ford: 1^st in 100 Breaststroke

Jillian Bilben: 1^st in 100 Butterfly and 2^nd in 200 Individual Medley

Sylvia Valenzuela: 2^nd in 500 Free

The 200 Free Relay of Mary Versteeg, Quianna Ford, Kalstad, and Bilben took 2^nd

The JV team lost 76-55 with the following first place finishes:

Lila Hoopman in the 100 Free

Mckenna Whelchel in 50 Free

Zuri Silvers in 50 Butterfly

Linnea Yount in 100 Breaststroke

The girls swimming and diving team will be hosting the junior high Shiverland meet on Saturday at the Falls High Pool.
