Kelliher/Northome at Littlefork-Big Falls

Recap

The Littlefork-Big Falls baseball team played a doubleheader at home yesterday afternoon.  Game 1 was against their rival, Northome-Kelliher, and the Mustangs scored 4 times in the first inning to take the early lead.  The Vikings answered back with 4 of their own in the second, then scored 2 in the third, 6 in the 4^th, and 2 in the 5^th to lead 14-7.  Northome-Kelliher scored 2 in the 6^th and took the lead 15-14 in the top of the 7^th by scoring 6 times.  Levi Thydean led off the 7^th and reached on error and came around to score to force extra innings tied at 15.  LBF pitcher Brayden Maish threw a 1-2-3 inning in the top of the 8^th and in the bottom of the 8^th, AJ Knaeble got a one-out single and he scored the winning run on a Levi Thydean sacrifice fly for the exciting 16-15 win.  After the game, Viking head coach Mason Imhof recapped the end of the game
