Langdon Area 3 at Thompson 0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-11)

In a matchup of two top five Class B volleyball teams, fourth-ranked Langdon-Edmore-Munich defeated second-ranked Thompson in three straight sets….25-20, 25-20, 25-11 Thursday night in Thompson.

The Tommies played without senior middle hitter Summer Hegg, who was sidelined with an ankle injury suffered in practice earlier in the week.  Langdon took advantage as junior Cora Badding had 12 kills, three blocks and three aces to lead the Cardinals.  Junior Jaya Henderson added eight kills for the Cardinals, who improve to 3-1 on the season.

Junior Brenna Martin had seven kills and one block assist for Thompson, who is now 2-1 on the year.
