Laporte at Littlefork-Big Falls

In games heard on KGHS and rjbroadcasting.com and seen on Your Live Event.com, both Littlefork basketball teams hosted the Laporte Wildcats.  The ladies took the floor first and the Vikings applied a ¾ court press to take early control of the game.  The score at halftime was 41-17 as LBF used a 23-0 run to build that lead.  Things slowed down in the second half and the game went to running time with Littlefork-Big Falls winning 67-29.  After the game, freshman Kora Gustafson, who scored 7 points in the game, said defense was the key to the win.

Destiny Piekarski led LBF with 46 points which means she has scored 100 points in 2 games this week.  The Vikings, who are now 2-2 on the season, are on the road tonight to take on the South Ridge Panthers.
