North Central at Cromwell-Wright

The North Central Stars opened their season with a game on the road at Cromwell-Wright on Friday.  The Stars wasted no time getting on the scoreboard as here is the second play from scrimmage on the season

Jake Kachinske on the call from WKLK in Cloquet.  Seth Donner hit AJ Knaeble for the 2-pt conversion pass and it was 8-0.  It would stay that way until early in the 2^nd quarter when Marcus Johnson scored two rushing touchdowns in 21 seconds, one from 41 yards and the other from 13 and North Central led 22-0 at halftime.  North Central would add one touchdown in each of the final two quarters as the Stars defeated the Cardinals 36-6.  Seth Donner hit Knaeble on a 23 yard pass in the 3^rd quarter and Anthony Boorman scampered 55 yards in the 4^th.  The Stars host McGregor next Friday in Kelliher.
