Littlefork-Big Falls at Northeast Range

The Littlefork-Big Falls volleyball team opened the playoffs last night in Babbitt in a match heard on KGHS and rjbroadcasting.com.  The Northeast Range Nighthawks used runs of 12 and 8 to secure Set 1, 25-13.  It was more of the same in the second set as Northeast Range won 25-10.  The Vikings came to life in the third set and held the lead for portions of the set before the Nighthawks completed the sweep 25-17.  Anissa Wimmer had 5 kills and 5 aces to the lead the Vikings as they end their season with a 3-17 record.  Northeast Range now faces unbeaten Ely on Wednesday.
