The Nevis Tigers hit enough shots, and made some crucial free throws at the end of the game to hold on for a 53-48 win over the Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds.  The Thunderbirds struggled shooting the ball through out the night, and would pull within 1 point several times but could never get over the hump while Nevis would hit timely 3’s and collect crucial rebounds plus make enough free throws at the end to hold on for the win.  Nevis is now 17-6 while Mahnomen Waubun drops to 13-11
