Mesabi East at International Falls

In a meet heard on K104, rjbroadcasting.com, and seen on Your Live Event.com, the International Falls girls swimming and diving team hosted the Mesabi East Giants.  Alina Hartzler got the meet started with a victory in the diving competition scoring 144.35 points.   Havyn Pelland took first in the 200 yard freestyle and the 100 butterfly.  Quianna Ford took first in the 100 breaststroke while Liz Jantzen had a pair of 2^nd place finishes in the 50 free and the 500 free.  Jillian Bilben placed 2^nd in the 100 free.  Mesabi East won the meet as a team by a final score of 100-73.  After the meet, senior captain Gracie Bowles said it was a successful day.

The Bronco girls swimming and diving team will compete next on Thursday, September 30^th when they host Rock Ridge.
