Mesabi East at International Falls

The International Falls boys swimming and diving team opened their regular season with a home meet against Mesabi East.  The Giants won all 12 events as they won the meet by a final score of 99-63.  Top finishes for the Broncos include:

Trygg Hemstad: 2^nd in the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 Free

Michael Sobkowicz: 2^nd in Diving

Brendyn Scholler: 2^nd in the 100 Butterfly

Josh Wherley: 2^nd in the 100 Breaststroke

After the meet, Wherley says the young team did well in their first meet.

The Bronco boys swimming and diving will host their 7-team invitational meet on Saturday starting at noon.
