AUDUBON, MN – The #6 Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal Titans defeated the #3 Lake Park-Audubon Raiders, 62-55, on Thursday night to advance to the Section 6A Quarterfinals on Saturday.

The Titans, after losing to the Raiders twice during the regular season, started off hot with a 15-2 run in the first 5:37 of the game. Sophomore Ian Jacobson, Senior Reed Klemetson, and Junior Aiden Flaten all made threes to score the team’s first nine points. The Titans held the Raiders to just 16 points in the first half.

Following a slow first half, Lake Park-Audubon was able to outscore Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal in the second half, 39-31, including 12 points in the second half from Senior Marc Pederson and 13 points from Junior Colby Poegel.

Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal will move on to face #2 Battle Lake on Saturday at 2:45 PM in Perham, MN.
