As the regular season came to a close on Wednesday night, the Nevis Tigers traveled to Ulen to face off against the Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdahl. The Tigers (7-1) won on Wednesday night over the Titans (5-3), 35-16.
Nevis sophomore running back Ayo Ogundeji had a 51 yard rushing touchdown on the first offensive play of the game for the Tigers, and he finished the day with 22 carries, 195 rushing yards, and three touchdowns. Tigers teammate junior Austin Ahrendt also had 8 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown.
NCE/U-H senior running back Cole Bentley carried Nevis defenders left and right all night as he had 16 carries for 87 yards on the ground, along with a pair of receptions for 33 receiving yards.
