Fertile, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami Falcons won their sixth match in a row after their 3-1 victory over the Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal Titans on Monday night.

The Titans were able to manage a set one victory but it was all Fertile-Beltrami from there. The Falcons would tally a total of 17 blocks throughout the night to maintain the energy and momentum, six of which came in the second set as the Falcons won it 25-7. The third set was much like the second with the exception of the Falcons relentless attack that saw Sophomore Grace Proulx have four kills. The fourth was closer on the scoreboard but the Falcons withstood any comeback effort from the Titans and won 25-19 and took the match 3-1. (18-25, 25-7, 25-12, 25-19).

The Falcons are now 6-6 overall and will take a six game win streak to Bagley on Thursday against the Flyers. The Titans fall to 3-5 and are at home on Thursday against Climax/Fisher.
