Central Cass capped off a 26-0 overall record and won their third state basketball title in program history with a 61-44 win over Shiloh Christian on Saturday night from the Bismarck Events Center.

It’s the first boys basketball championship since 1968 for the Squirrels. Cole Holzer paced Central Cass with 15 points and 14 rebounds, while Sam Kobbervig added 14 points.

Central Cass closed out the contest on a 25-8 run over the last 9 minutes and 8 seconds, after being tied at 36. Kobbervig was named Tournament MVP and Holzer was on the All Tournament Team.

Caden Englund paced Shiloh Christian with 13 points and Atticus Wilkinson had 12 points for Shiloh Christian. The Skyhawks go 22-5 overall and Kyler Klein and Jay Wanzek were named to the All Tournament Team for the Skyhawks.
