North Dakota State Class B Cross Country Results
Preview
JAMESTOWN – Hillsboro-Central Valley finished in the top five in the boys and girls state cross country meet on Friday afternoon.
The Burros finished fourth as a team, while having two all-state runners. Junior Christian Brist finished third overall and senior Jake Wright placed twentieth on the boy’s side.
Bowman County won the team title with 5 runners finishing in the top 6. Austin Wanner ran the 5K in 16:04.54 and teammate Caleb Sarsland finished second with a time of 16:06.72 for the Bulldogs.
Freshman Brynn Hanson from Des-Lacs Burlington won the girls individual title with a time of 18:57.5, while Addie Miller from Killdeer came in second with a time of 19:08.4.
Freshman Shaycee Johnson of Hillsboro-Central Valley finished as an all-state runner finishing 14th overall. Jenna Soine and Paris Hoverson from Hatton-Northwood were also all-state runners finishing 16th and 17thoverall.
Rugby won the team title on the girls side, followed by Bowman County and Hillsboro-Central Valley in third.
