North Woods at International Falls

The Bronco volleyball team hosted the North Woods Grizzlies last night in a match seen on Your Live Event.com.  The first set was one that the Broncos would like to forget as it was all Grizzlies, 25-11 was the score.  The Falls rebounded by never trailing in Set 2 and took the set by a score of 25-21.  The third set was a back and forth one as there was 8 ties and 4 lead changes and North Woods won the set 25-22.  The Broncos would not go away and after trailing 12-4 in Set 4, the girls came back to win the set 25-23.  The Falls then used that momentum to build a 9-0 lead in the fifth set and won 15-10.  With the win, the Broncos are now 2-0 on the season and head coach Sarah Peterson says volleyball is a game of momentum.

International Falls will host Mountain Iron-Buhl on Thursday night at 7:00.  The Rangers beat North Woods on Monday night, also in 5 sets so it should be another close one at the Falls High Gym.  The Bronco JV team lost their match in 2 sets while the C-team won their match in 2 sets.
