North Woods at International Falls

The Bronco baseball team played host to the North Woods Grizzlies yesterday afternoon in a game heard on K104 and rjbroadcasting.com.  North Woods got a run in the first and so did the Broncos.  From there, the Falls would score multiple runs in every inning after that as they won 15-5 in 5 innings.  Jake Olson pitched all 5 innings as he struck out 4.  Matt Wherley had 2 hits, 2 walks, and 2 runs scored. Owen Wherley went 2-3 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored.  Brody Carlson and Gavin Loveless also both had 2 hits.  In the post game interview, Loveless said he is seeing the ball really well at the plate.

Cody Joslyn scored 3 times in the game as the Broncos improved to 2-3 on the season.  They are scheduled to be back in action this afternoon at 4:30 for a home game against Greenway-Nashwauk-Keewatin.  Our pregame starts at 4:10 on K104 and rjbroadcasting.com.
