The Ada-Borup-West Cougars improved to 11-1 and extended their winning streak to five games, while ending the four-game winning streak of the Northern Freeze after a 64-58 final score. The teams traded baskets for seven lead changes before the Cougars took the lead at 14-13 midway through the opening half. With a 30-24 halftime lead, the Cougars started the half on an 8-0 run to build their largest lead of the game at 14 points. The Freeze re-grouped and attempted to comeback. They pulled within five with under a minute to play but the Cougars made enough free throws down the stretch to keep the Freeze from completing the comeback.
