Northland CC at Rainy River WBB

The Rainy River women’s basketball team hosted #3 nationally ranked Northland on Saturday afternoon.  After being outscored 22-7 in the first quarter, the Voyageur women outscored the Pioneers the rest of the game but lost by a final of 64-51.  B’j’ne Arvie led Rainy with 13 points while Livonna Wallace and Arcadya Conway were also in double figures with 11.  The Voyageur women are now 8-9 on the season and 3-2 in the North Division and will be in Grand Rapids tonight for a 6:00 non-conference game against Itasca.
