John Paul Elsenpeter rushed for 170 yards and scored a touchdown in each quarter helping Pequot Lakes start their 2024 season with a 28-20 win over North Branch.

The Patriots never trailed as they lead 7-6 after one, 14-12 at the half and 21-12 at the end of the the third quarter. Michael Oseland was 10/16 passing for 116 yards, Jerome Martin was 4/4 on extra point kicks and the defense had two key take aways that helped slow the North Branch offense.

Senior quarterback Jacob Robillard had three rushing touchdowns for the Vikings.
