Recap

The International Falls boys hockey team played their first game in 18 days last night as they hosted the Proctor Rails in a game heard on K104 and rjbroadcasting.com.  It was also available on your live event.com and can be watched anytime by going to broadcast archives at the site.  The first period was a frame of power play goals as 4 penalties were called and 3 power play goals were scored.  The Rails scored 3 and half minutes in but Colin Kostiuk lit the lamp a little more than 5 minutes later with the assists to Nate Dremmel and Matt Wherley to tie the game at 1.  Proctor would regain the lead before the end of the first.  After a scoreless second period, the Rails added a final goal in the third period for the final margin of 3-1.   After the game, captain Parker Sivonen said he likes the physical game that was played last night.

The Falls will face Iron Range Conference rival Greenway tomorrow night at Bronco Arena.  The pregame is scheduled to start at 7:10 on K104, rjb…, and Your Live Event.com with the opening faceoff at 7:30.
