Rainy River WBB at Mesabi Range CC

The Rainy River women ended their regular season with a loss to Mesabi Range, 61-55.  The Voyaguers led by 2 at the half but just like the men, could not hang onto the lead.  Current North Division Player of the Week, Arcadya Conway posted a double double of 15 points and 12 rebounds while B’jne Arvie had 10 points.  The Rainy River women finish the regular season 11-10 overall and 5-3 in the North Division which puts them in second place.  The Voyageurs will next play in the Region 13 tournament in the Twin Cities starting on Saturday, February 26^th.  The top 2 teams from that tournament qualify for the national tournament.
