Clearbrook, MN — The Red Lake County Rebels won in dominating fashion over the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears 80-53 on Tuesday night.

The Rebels started game on a 9-0 run thanks to their hot shooting and they would never relinquish the lead. The Rebels looked as if they were a step faster than the Bears all night long. They applied relentless pressure all night long and never allowed the Bears to get easy looks on offense. John Powers was on fire all night as he had 18 points, all by way of the three pointer. The Rebels made 10 3-pointers on the night en route to their 80-53 win. Red Lake County is now 5-5 on the season and will host the top team in Section 8, Warren-Alvarado-Oslo this Friday. Clearbrook-Gonvick falls to 4-7 and will end the week at Goodridge/Grygla on Friday.
