Erskine, MN — The Red Lake County Rebels beat the Win E Mac Patriots 77-53 on Friday night to get back above .500 at 7-6 on the season.

The game started out as if we were going to see a high scoring back and forth affair with both teams trading buckets throughout the first five minutes. Red Lake County went up 27-14 at the 10:35 mark of the first half and that was their first and only run of the game that they needed as they never seized the lead from there and went up 52-26 at the half behind 19 first half points from Freshman Connor Duden. The Rebels continued their stingy play defensively in the second half and would go on to win the game, 77-53.

Red Lake County is now 7-6 on the year and will play at home on Tuesday the 24th as the host the Kittson County Central Bearcats. Win E Mac falls to 7-9 and they will also play next Tuesday the 24th for their second of four games in a row at home against the Park Christian Falcons.
