Region 2 Boys Basketball Tournament Semifinals

The Grafton spoilers advanced to the Region 2 Championship game with a 75-64 win over the Hillsboro/Central Valley Burros. The Spoilers came out hot with 11 of their 13 made field goals in the first half being 3-pointers, on their way to a 41-29 halftime score. In the second half the Burros kept going inside and drew contact to shoot free throws but would get no closer than six points as the Spoilers kept making shots, knocking down 16 triples in the victory. Grafton will face Thompson in the Region 2 Championship on Thursday while the Burros will take on MayPort-CG in the Region 2 Third-Place game.
