Twin Valley, MN — The Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal Titans snuck out a victory over the Rothsay Tigers on Monday night in Twin Valley winning 3-1.

The Titans handled the first set 25-11 after getting out to a 12-0 start but the second set was a little tougher with the Tigers bouncing back from their lackluster opening set. The Tigers were up 20-15 at one point during set two but the Titans would continue to attack and comeback to win 27-25. In the third set with their backs against the wall, the Tigers would secure a third set victory but it wasn’t without it’s share of drama as set three too went down to the very wire. This match was mere bounces away from going to a fifth set but the Titans held off the Tigers and won the match 3-1.

NCE/U-H is now 5-5 and will host the Fosston Greyhounds on Tuesday night. For Rothsay they fall to 7-10 and will be at home, also on Tuesday, against Clinton-Graceville-Beardsly.
