Section 8 9-Man Football Quarterfinal – #5 Stephen-Argyle @ #4 Win E Mac

Jonas Spry ran for two touchdowns and threw for two more as the Patriots advanced in the Section 8 Nine Man playoffs with a 34-22 win over Stephen-Argyle. It was the second win for the Patriots over the Storm this season with Win-E-Mac winning at Argyle on September 23rd 38-22.  The Patriots trailed 8-0 entering the second quarter but scored four touchdowns in the second period to take a 26-8 lead into halftime. Spry had a big night for the  Patriots as he ran for touchdowns of 4 and 2 yards and threw touchdown passes of 38 yards to Braylon Hamre and 41 yards to Bergen Howard. Spry threw for 252 yards and ran for 87 yards in the game as the Patriots improved their record to 5-4. Braylon Hamre scored two touchdowns for the Patriots who overcame nine penalties in the game. Demetrius Oberg scored two touchdowns for the Storm as they end their season at 3-6. The Patriots will travel to Hallock on Saturday, October 29th to face the top seeded Kittson County Central Bearcats in the Section 8 Nine Man semifinals (2:00 pm on 1480-AM/99.7 FM)
