Section 8A BBB QF Sacred Heart vs Goodridge/Grygla

THIEF RIVER FALLS, MN – The #1 Sacred Heart Eagles (25-4) defeated the Goodridge-Grygla Chargers (15-13) on Monday night, 77-58, to advance to the Section 8A semifinals on Wednesday night.

For the Eagles, Senior Ethan Arntson led the team with 19 points in the team’s win. Sophomore Parker Erickson stepped up with 17 points for the Eagles, as well. Junior Josiah Sunday showcased his flashy passes throughout the night, setting up his teammates with plenty of assists, while also scoring 14 points.

Junior Lewis Jones led the Chargers on offense with 22 points, tied for the game lead with his teammate, junior Blake Rychlock. Junior Spencer Coan had two three point shots made off the bench.

The Eagles will face Warren-Alvarado-Oslo on Wednesday night at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Thief River Falls. That game can be heard on 96.7 FM KKCQ.
