Section 8A Football Quarterfinal – #6 Red Lake @ #3 Red Lake County

Oklee, MN — The Red Lake County Rebels took care of business on Tuesday night defeating the Red Lake Warriors 55-22 to advance to the Section 8A Football Seminal Round.

Red Lake County scored in a variety of ways in the first quarter, including a touchdown pass, a safety and a few rushing scores, getting out to the big lead. The only two scores for Red Lake came late in the first half which was a 75 yard touchdown connection from Josh Stillday to Gerald Kingbird Jr and a 75 yard fumble return for a score. Other than those, Red Lake was unable to muster any other points.

With the victory, Red Lake County will now take on the Ada-Borup-West Cougars in the Section 8A Semifinal Round on Saturday.
